About me

As a qualified, BACP-registered integrative counsellor I work in person in North London, and online throughout the UK.

Whether you’re navigating complex relationships, have emotional well-being concerns like anxiety and stress, or are seeking to overcome feelings of being ‘stuck’ in life, my primary objective is to help you effectively manage your emotions and empower you to move forward positively in life. Having navigated life’s intricacies personally and professionally I understand the impact of these experiences and can empathise with what you might be going through.

During each session, you’ll find that I am warm and caring, and tailor my approach to your individual needs and preferences. My therapy space is comfortable and welcoming, designed to foster empathy, understanding and a sense of security.

Recognising that each person has a unique understanding of themselves and their relationships, I will actively listen with open acceptance to your story, whenever you feel ready to share. Together we will explore your thought patterns, emotions and behaviours working towards the changes you desire. While shifting your mindset may feel intimidating, adopting a fresh perspective allows greater self-awareness, enabling you to negotiate the emotional fallout that often accompanies life's challenges.

Embarking on the journey of self-discovery and contemplating new possibilities can be daunting, but effective counselling is a collaborative process, and I will give you as much support as possible on your journey.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered member of British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy.

I hold the CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and the CPCAB Level 2 & 3 Certificate in Counselling

I attend regular supervision and professional development programmes and workshops to enhance my knowledge and development in counselling.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
