About me
I offer online and in-person long-term therapy. My practice is integrative, shaped by somatic, narrative, existential, and relational psychoanalytic traditions. This allows me to work responsively rather than applying a fixed method: each therapeutic relationship is different and my practice is tailored as such.
Much of my work involves paying attention to the ways people adapt to experiences that may feel overwhelming or unbearable, and the cost of those adaptations over time. Therapy is not about forcing change, but about creating the conditions in which new forms of experiencing, relating, and imagining may gradually become possible. Careful pacing, attention to the body, and a sense of safety guide the work.
I have particular experience supporting those who have experienced interpersonal adversity and trauma, including abuse, neglect and multiple, cumulative, and complex traumas, as well as those who experience psychosis, dissociation, derealisation, and depersonalisation. My practice is grounded in an anti-oppressive perspective that recognises how social, cultural, and structural forces shape experience and access to care. I also work with those who have faced discrimination or systemic barriers related to race, culture, gender, sexuality, age, and other aspects of identity and circumstance. Many of the people I work with are from neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ communities. In therapy, these layers of context and history matter alongside the immediacy of our encounter.
My background includes working in both community and organisational settings, with people experiencing severe mental distress as well as those navigating everyday life transitions. I work with people from all walks of life, and I welcome anyone who is curious about exploring therapy. Some people come with specific difficulties, such as anxiety, relationship challenges, or the impact of past experiences. Others seek therapy as a space for reflection, personal growth, and to have time that is fully their own.
Training, qualifications & experience
My training is in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling and is accredited by the BACP.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
