About me
Starting therapy can feel daunting. Taking the time to find a therapist who feels right for you is an important first step and one that already reflects a desire for change and self-care.
You might be seeking support to manage stress, anxiety, or depression; to navigate relationship challenges; or to find clarity and freedom from unhelpful patterns. Therapy can help you to reconnect with creativity or explore emerging parts of yourself as you move towards new and more authentic ways of being. Whatever it is that you’re facing, I believe it’s important to start with finding someone that you feel safe to be yourself with. I provide a warm and non-judgemental space from which we will embark on a journey towards finding greater clarity, balance and connection with yourself and others.
As a qualified integrative counsellor, I draw on a variety of different methods, ideas and approaches, adapting to the individual needs of each client. Some modalities that I often draw from include relational, person-centred, psychodynamic, body psychotherapy, attachment theory, trauma informed theories and Jungian ideas.
We will work together to understand how your past experiences have shaped your current world, as well as develop the capacity to find more choice in how you wish to be moving forwards. I believe that the power of therapy lies in the capacity for the relationship to bend and shift around the evolving needs of the client. This sometimes takes the form of a gentle witnessing, ensuring you are seen and heard in ways that may have been lacking in the outside world. Other times, it may feel creative and experimental, offering you the opportunity to play with new ways of thinking and relating. We will shape it to whatever you need it to be.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I am able to offer sessions both online and in person. I am based in London and can currently offer in person sessions in three different locations (Stoke Newington N16, Queens Park NW6 and High Street Kensington W8).
I offer weekly sessions and the length of the therapy is different for everyone. Some people come for just a few sessions to focus on a specific issue, while others seek open-ended support for several months or years. We’ll regularly review our work together so that the therapy moves at a pace and depth that feels right for you. At the time that you feel you would like to end the work, we will discuss this together and agree the best way to bring the work to a close.
For me, working inclusively means balancing empathy with holding a genuine respect for difference and an awareness of privilege. I aim to create a space where we can explore, with openness and curiosity, how identity and lived experience, such as culture, race, gender, sexuality, and class, may influence how you see yourself and how you relate to others, including in our work together.
