About me

Therapy is for everyone. You don't need to have experienced a major life event or trauma to seek support. Sometimes it’s simply that you are not feeling quite yourself, or you want to understand why you think and feel the way you do. Perhaps you are feeling stuck and not sure how to move forward, or maybe you want to look at your relationships and how you interact with others.

How I work

I am an integrative relational therapist, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches such as psychodynamic, trauma-informed and transcultural, while always keeping the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the work. I also have a neuro-affirming practice, which means I have experience of working with people who identify as neurodivergent.

I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where honesty with yourself becomes possible. Through this process, many people experience a sense of relief, feeling calmer, steadier, and more connected to themselves. I work collaboratively with you while walking with you as you explore, with curiosity, feelings that may have felt too much at some point.

As a therapist, I work with an awareness of the many layers that make up our experience, including our identity, relationships, culture and the interactions with the world around us. I recognise that these layers can overlap and influence one another, shaping how we understand ourselves and how we experience life.

Together, we can explore the patterns that have developed across different seasons of your life - how past experiences continue to influence the present, why certain words or situations affect you so deeply, and the reasons for those responses.

Often, people leave therapy realising they already hold much of the wisdom they were searching for, but that they just needed a safe space to witness it.  I look forward to working together.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
