About us
We are a small team of therapists with diverse expertise and interests, working with teens, couples, and individuals of all ages from our clinic in Blackheath, SE London, and online.
Our specialisms include relationships, adolescent mental health, and family and relational dynamics. We have three experienced couples therapists, each with unique expertise — supporting couples where one or both partners are neurodiverse, those navigating sexual difficulties, infidelity, communication breakdown, and issues like low or lost sexual desire. We place strong emphasis on psychosexual issues, including difficulties with intercourse, and offer both marriage counselling and support for couples exploring whether they want to stay together.
Our relational work includes psychosexual and relationship therapy for individuals, focusing on attachment styles, relational dynamics, and how past experiences shape the way we connect with others.
We work holistically with families at every stage of life. Our team includes therapists who specialise in working with children and adolescents, and we offer tailored support to parents navigating the complexities of parenthood. Whether it’s adjusting to life as a new parent, coming to terms with a child’s diagnosis, or coping with the evolving demands of parenting, we offer compassionate, non-judgmental support. We also work with adult family members facing relational difficulties, and with parents and children who have experienced loss through bereavement, separation, or estrangement — including support for parents struggling to understand why their children may have cut off contact, or those experiencing empty nest syndrome.
We also offer specialist support in ADHD and Narcissistic Abuse Recovery. For clients with ADHD, we provide a 12-session awareness and strategy programme, helping them understand their experiences and develop practical tools for everyday life. We work with a range of issues, including, disordered eating life transitions, anxiety, depression and trauma.
All our therapists are highly qualified, experienced, and registered with professional bodies, adhering to their ethical guidelines and codes of practice. Our therapists are trained in a range of therapeutic modalities and offer a variety of approaches — including Humanistic, Existential, Psychodynamic, Psychosexual, Integrative, and Person-Centred therapy — so we can offer support that’s tailored to your needs.
Unlike larger services, HeathWell is run by counsellors and psychotherapists who have lived and worked locally for many years. We offer therapy in multiple languages, with appointments available during the day, evenings, and weekends to suit your schedule.

Member organisations *

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
