About me
I offer therapy in-person and online. My experience spans supporting individuals, couples, families and groups across diverse settings, including GPs, addiction services, and forensic environments. Alongside clinical work, I am pursuing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.
I have an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy - you are the expert of your own experience, and I aim to work alongside you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic and humanistic approaches, I create a flexible and dynamic space where we can explore how past experiences may shape your present life, and consider how greater self-awareness and self-acceptance can support positive change. My approach is relational, compassionate, and non-judgmental, ensuring the process moves at a pace that feels right for you.

- 1-1 work: Working humanistically and psychodynamically online with clients (current age range is 17-67 YO) facing mental health challenges
- Couples work: Helping couples work through challenges and navigate relationship difficulties, with the goal of fostering healthier communication
- Group work: Co-facilitating 8-week group sessions (focused on relationships, couples, and anxiety)
- Assessment work: Conducting initial assessments to evaluate client needs and potential risks, then match potential clients with appropriate trainee and associate therapists

- Providing face-to-face, person-centred therapy to individuals facing addiction as well as to carers and affected others, addressing a range of concerns including addiction, depression, codependency, and loneliness
Other experience:
I also have experience in forensic settings, including HM Prison Pentonville, where I conducted triage assessments and facilitated CBT intervention groups for inmates dealing with anxiety, depression, insomnia and anger management.
In educational and child-focused settings, I have worked alongside Educational Psychologists and SEND teams to support children with ADHD, ASD, and learning difficulties, helping to create tailored interventions and inclusive learning environments.
My research background includes a project funded by the West Midlands Police looking at themes behind a rise in homicides around Coventry in a context of drug trafficking, county lines and gang-related crime. Other research includes a distinction awarded qualitative project exploring families experiences of learning disabilities.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
