TA Psychotherapist Advanced Training UKATA, UKCP Trainee, MA

About us

I’m Lindsay, a Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist in Advanced Training. I'm the founder and therapist behind Enowi Psychotherapy. Enowi means spark or ember and I believe in reigniting your inner flame.

People often find their way to me at a threshold moment when the old ways of coping no longer fit, and something new is calling but not yet clear. My work sits at the intersection of psychological depth, creative insight, and grounded, relational presence. I support adolescents, adults, couples, and groups who want more than symptom relief; they want meaningful change.

Whether you’re navigating identity shifts, burnout, relationship patterns, trauma, addiction, or the quiet ache of “something needs to change,” I offer a space where you can slow down, understand yourself, and reorient toward a life that feels more authentic and alive.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply attuned. I draw from Transactional Analysis, relational psychotherapy, and trauma‑informed practice, always working at the pace you can hold.

Clients often describe my style as:

  • Clear, grounded, and emotionally intelligent
  • Insightful without being overwhelming
  • Creative, minimalistic, and symbolically rich
  • Challenging in a way that feels safe and respectful

I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to help you understand the patterns that shape your life, reconnect with your agency, and build a relationship with yourself that feels steady and compassionate.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Transactional Analysis psychotherapist in Advanced Training. This means I am completing my final year of four in level seven training and beginning the process of taking my CTA exams to be a certified psychotherapist. I'm an accredited member of NCPS and a UKCP trainee. What this means for you as my clients is that I work to really rigorous ethical standards, I meet CPD requirements and my practice is in line with a professional code of practice.

In addition to this, I have over a decade of experience working in adolescent and family mental health in the Public and Third Sector. I have lots of experience with self harm and suicidality, with addiction and people going through significant life transitions.

Who I Work Best With

I specialise in supporting people who are:

  • In liminal life transitions endings, beginnings, identity shifts
  • Experiencing burnout, overwhelm, or emotional exhaustion
  • Navigating men’s mental health, emotional expression, and relational patterns
  • Moving through matrescence, motherhood, and the complexity of care
  • Living with trauma, PTSD, or the impact of abuse
  • Struggling with addiction, compulsive behaviours, or self-harm
  • Seeking deeper self-understanding, not just coping strategies

My clients tend to be thoughtful, sensitive, creative, or high-achieving individuals who want a therapist who can meet them with nuance, depth, and clarity.

What Therapy With Me Feels Like

You can expect:

  • A calm, spacious environment where you can breathe
  • A therapist who listens for what’s said and unsaid
  • Honest, compassionate dialogue
  • A blend of psychological insight and grounded practicality
  • A relationship that supports real, sustainable change

I hold the work with care, precision, and respect and I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can bring your whole self, without performance or pretence.
