About me
Life throws challenges at us, and sometimes the pain of historic or recent experiences just doesn't leave us. Navigating this alone can be difficult. Perhaps you feel something isn't quite right, that you're not living to your fullest capacity, or that you're unable to fully enjoy life. While family and friends sometimes offer support, a neutral, accepting, and non-judgmental space is often crucial. Here, you can truly explore what's happening and how you really feel.
Being able to explore the root of why we have not developed to our full potential, and talk about our hurt and painful inner parts of ourselves can be the start of our own healing.
Do you have a sense that something isn't quite right? Perhaps you notice your behaviour changes when you're with others, or you feel anxious, unfulfilled, carrying deep hurts that are difficult to share. These feelings can stem from historic or recent experiences that haven't fully resolved.
I specialise in helping individuals and couples who are grappling with what can be debilitating and profound emotional challenges, providing a supportive space to explore, understand, and work towards healing.
I believe that healing begins through being deeply understood, through authentic connections and understanding ourselves. This is where we explore what impacts you on a profound level, and how you can choose, if you wish, to make meaningful change. I am here to support you and navigate these paths together, offering a neutral, accepting, and non-judgmental space to truly explore what is happening and how you really feel.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have years of experience in clinical practice, and have worked with (but not limited to); an inner sense that you do not fit into your family or partnership, anxiety, ADHD, Autistic spectrum, depression, low mood, trauma, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, emotional and sexual abuse, neglect, rape, chronic illnesses, Loss and grief.
I am a registered member with the BACP, adhering to their code of code and ethical framework. I have graduated with a first class BSc honours degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, accredited by Staffordshire University.
The training I have undertaken is robust and rigorous both personally, experientially, and academically.
I have been a client in therapy, and have many hours as a clinical practitioner. I undertake clinical supervision with a UKCP accredited supervisor twice monthly, which overlooks all clinical work, to ensure safe and ethical practise for clients, and myself. I maintain my own welfare through my own therapy, supervision and self care, I also engage with rigorous continued professional development and training.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
