About me
Play is the child’s nature medium of self-expression – It is essential for development. In the play therapy sessions, the child has opportunity to ‘play out’ their feelings and problems.
The intervention has a significant impact on how children view themselves and their future success as students, members of the community, family members, and human beings.
Children sometimes experience difficulties and present challenging behaviours. I may contribute to their soul’s playfulness and lightness through the play. I offer play therapy for children aged 4 to 13 years old.
Children would have access to standard play kit with all mediums is to support children who have these difficulties or emotional issues in a non-directive play therapy that allows a child to engage in free play and invites the child to explore however they need to.
For Play Therapy sessions Must to:
- Fill out SDQ (The Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire) - The SDQ is a brief behavioural screening questionnaire:
- For 3-16 years old - Its use is commended by Ofsted - Referral Form for Therapeutic Play – detailing some form of a child’s misbehaviour;
- Parent’s permission;
- Parent Interview Form; - Throughout the play therapy sessions, I may be able to support them in regaining their soul’s playfulness and lightness. Therapeutic intervention plan using non-directive and Integrative Holistic Play Therapy.
