About me

I'm a registered Clinical Psychologist with 12 years of experience of working in NHS mental health services with adults who experience common mental health problems such as depression, anxiety & post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I have a particular interest in helping people to heal from trauma and supporting them to move beyond survival mode so they can reach their true potential and live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

I have been trained in a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and my work is informed by Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT).

It's normal to feel nervous at the thought of starting therapy, therefore I aim to offer a warm, non-judgmental environment for you to safely explore what is going on for you and identify what you'd like to achieve by the end of our sessions. Contact me for a free telephone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Liverpool in 2017.
  • Certificate in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing) in 2021
  • Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in 2014
