Dip.Couns, NCS Accredited

About me

I am a qualified passionate, open-minded TA counsellor, well-being coach, NCS accredited counsellor, and a UKATA trainee psychotherapist working towards my accreditation. In a confidential space we will be exploring your situation, issues that hold you back from a life you want to live, what drives you in your decision making.

I practice evidence-baced trauma informed approach. Your story is important and deserve to be heard, validated and understood. I pay attention to the connection between a traumatic event (or series of events) and how that may impact your mental, emotional, behavioural and spiritual well-being now.

Major areas of my focus

I will help if you have difficulty coping with a major life events (bereavement, divorce, redundancy or relocation to a different country, trauma) and learning to adapt to new reality; if you're feeling stressed, low or stuck and unable to cope with unresolved emotional issues; if you want to understand your self better or just generally unsatisfied with life.

Introductory session

I believe relationships are pivotal in counselling. I offer a free introductory session that will give the two of us the chance to get to know each other, and for you to understand if you feel comfortable and if I best suit your needs in counselling.

First sessions

Our work during this and subsequent sessions will be devoted to working on what brought you to counselling. I will invite you to answer questions that will allow you to start exploring your life situation and, in particular, the areas where you experience difficulties now.

Our past, our unique life experiences and the decisions we have made determine where we are now, how we experience life. We will start looking into that together in order to understand these patterns and outline a direction for change.

I offer short term and long term sessions

During the sessions you will have the opportunity to find a way forward so that you can live your life in a fuller and more satisfying way, gain a better understanding of yourself and your difficulties, broaden the alternatives for you to deal with your issue, help to understand what’s causing difficulties with others, come to terms with your past. Sometimes you will leave sessions with clarity and insight, sometimes you will have resistance and sabotage. This is part of the process and we will be exploring this together.
