About me

Are you ready to go deeper in therapy - not just to get by, but to understand, heal, and change?
I’m an Integrative Counsellor in London offering 1:1 support and a free 30-minute consultation. Many of the clients I work with have tried on their own and/or with other approaches but previously found themselves going in circles. They come to therapy with me seeking a safe, attuned space where they can connect more deeply with themselves, in their relationships, process stuck patterns, and move towards meaningful change.

My work is rooted in an integrative, person-centred approach that blends a range of modalities to meet you where you are - and support you in going further. Whether you’re navigating grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or longstanding internal struggles, we’ll take reflective steps to support meaningful progress. Together, we’ll focus not only on what happens in the therapy room, but also on how you can apply your insights in your relationships and within yourself so that they can take root in your day-to-day life.

If this sounds like the kind of work you're yearning for, I invite you to get in touch. I offer a free 30-minute phone consultation so you can share more about what you are looking for, ask any questions, get a sense of how I work, and see whether we’d be a good fit to work together in therapy.

Please note that my remaining available session slots are for online or phone sessions only and my waiting list for in-person sessions is now closed.

Training, qualifications & experience

My journey towards becoming an Integrative therapist began back in 2018 and my passion for supporting clients in helping them get back to themselves (their true Selves) has never wavered.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with people facing a wide range of challenges, from those navigating self-esteem and relational difficulties, to those sitting with grief and loss, to individuals recovering from domestic abuse. My experience includes working in suicide bereavement charities and domestic abuse shelters, as well as leading a team of five therapists and mental health practitioners in an NHS-commissioned service in London. These experiences have deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of compassionate, tailored support. Whatever you’re facing, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to help you move forward at your own pace.

With over a decade of experience working in caring professions, half of that time was spent abroad, living in new countries far from home. The other half has been spent in various parts of the UK, experiencing the challenges of settling into new communities closer to home. I understand how relocation - whether near or far - can bring feelings of disconnection, and I appreciate the importance of building a true sense of belonging wherever you are.

Qualifications:

  • BACP Accredited Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling
  • BPS Accredited MSc in Psychology with Distinction

Additional Training:

  • Introduction to Relational Trauma
  • Working with Relational Trauma: Dealing with Disorganised Attachment
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Introduction to Psychodynamic Therapy
  • Papyrus Suicide Prevention
  • 3rd Wave CBT Therapies - Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

This diverse range of training underscores my commitment to caring for the well-being of others in various capacities. With my background in a variety of welfare settings, extensive training in therapy, understanding of a broad range of psychological issues, and experience in managing my own business, I bring a unique perspective to my work at Sirius Therapy Clinic.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information

The session price is based on a 60 minute (not 50 minute) online or phone session - 1hr30 sessions may also be available upon request. I also offer "walk and talk" sessions in a quiet but scenic area for those would benefit from being outdoors for the same rate.

Please note regarding private health insurance:

I’m not directly affiliated with any insurance provider. My current process for working with private health insurance is that clients pay me directly for each session. I provide an invoice which the client can then submit to their insurer for reimbursement. Please check with your provider to confirm they’re happy with this arrangement before we begin.
