About me

I am a Counsellor in London offering 1-1 support and a free 30-minute consultation. Many of my present and past clients have felt overwhelmed by their experiences and seek a safe, understanding space to heal and recover in. They want to regain control, process their feelings and experiences, find peace, and build healthier relationships. They often seek therapy to feel heard, validated, and supported, aiming to lead more fulfilling and balanced lives. I work with clients who have various presenting concerns, but I have particular experience working with grief, trauma and relationship difficulties.

My integrative person-centred approach is tailored to each individual's unique needs, focusing on creating a collaborative and empowering therapeutic environment. Together, we will work towards your goals, whether it's finding closure after loss, healing from past traumas, improving your relationships, or addressing any other well-being concerns.

At my practice, you will find a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where your voice is at the centre of our working together. Take that first step and reach out to set up a free 30 minute telephone consultation so that we can discuss what you need from counselling, how I work and whether my support would be a good fit for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I began my career change in 2018 to become a therapist and since then have been trained in a number of therapeutic modalities (more below).

Qualifications:

  • BACP Accredited Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling
  • BPS Accredited MSc in Psychology with Distinction

Additional Training:

  • Introduction to Relational Trauma
  • Working with Relational Trauma: Dealing with Disorganised Attachment
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
  • Suicide Prevention

This diverse range of training underscores my commitment to caring for the well-being of others in various capacities. With my background in a variety of welfare settings, extensive training in therapy, understanding of a broad range of psychological issues, and experience in managing my own business, I bring a unique perspective to my work at Sirius Therapy Clinic.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
