About us
I have 10 years of experience in psychology, sociology, philosophy and care. I work pluralistically, meaning for me (and you), there is no single approach to working one on one. I integrate different parts of my experience and training to facilitate what is most useful and meaningful to you.
My approach is laid back, candid, collaborative and consent driven. I offer a non-judgemental space for you to come exactly as you are and be met with compassion, understanding and care. I bring my full self, so you can bring yours, to a space for open exploration, collaborative processing and healing.
To me, therapy is about us working together for you to better understand yourself, and find ways to navigate challenges. Therapy with me is trauma-informed, neurodivergent and queer friendly, and I work hard to create a space that is safe, open, honest and conscientious.
I believe acceptance is the start of change, so come as you are, and I’ll meet you there.
I am primarily influenced by psychodynamic theories, person centred therapy and sociological and philosophical approaches to psychology. This means I often look beyond the present issue to consider if other factors, experiences or patterns may be around for you.
I have experience with, but am not limited to the following;
anxiety, depression, identity issues, relational difficulties, grief, childhood trauma, changing patterns of behaviour, gender or sexuality issues, existential, spiritual or religious challenges, neurodivergence, finding meaning, kink and BDSM, understanding and navigating complex emotions and trauma

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
