About me
Welcome, I am Basia (Barbara) Wesolowska, a psychotherapist.
Whatever brings you here, I would welcome the chance to hear your story. You may be looking for change, navigating a crisis, or facing new challenges where your usual ways of coping no longer feel enough. Perhaps you are curious about your inner world and would like to explore it with someone by your side.
I believe that having time and space to sit with your feelings, supported by someone who is fully present and non-judgmental, can already create meaningful change. This kind of experience is not always available in everyday relationships, and sometimes opening up to those closest to you can feel difficult. Speaking with someone outside your circle can offer a safe and supportive perspective.
I offer a warm, welcoming, and holding space where you can be yourself. Together, we can explore what might be holding you back, shift patterns that no longer serve you, and move toward the life you want to live.
With over 12 years of experience in talking therapies, I bring compassion, acceptance, and support to help clients work through challenging moments. I am a trauma-informed therapist with a focus on the deep connection between emotions and the body. Many of my clients find that developing body awareness alongside inner exploration helps them feel more grounded and better able to navigate life. My approach is person-centred and body-oriented, with an emphasis on reconnecting to your inner voice. Cultivating your intuition, alongside self-compassion, can give you valuable tools to navigate life’s difficulties.
If you are unsure whether I am the right fit for you, I warmly invite you to arrange a free 10-minute chat. This gives us the chance to connect and see if working together feels right for you. You are also welcome to visit my website, where you can learn more about the way I work.
