About me
It can feel like a difficult decision choosing a therapist, and I know you may have scrolled through many different profiles. If you’d rather have a brief chat on the phone to get a feel for whether I may be the right therapist for you, I welcome you to get in touch.
People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons - anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, overwhelm, depression, trauma, or simply a desire for something to feel different. You don't have to be in crisis to reach out. If something's affecting your wellbeing, it matters, and things can get better.
Life can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from ourselves and others. Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of what's going on underneath the surface.
Therapy isn't about fixing you, it's about reconnecting with your own strength, insight, and capacity for change. My role is to walk alongside you as you do just that.
Real shifts can and do happen – sometimes slowly, sometimes in surprising ways – but always through the power of being met with compassion and understanding.
I have been fortunate enough to personally experience the power of therapy, and how it changes lives, including my own.
Whether this is your first time seeking support or you've tried therapy before, I welcome you just as you are. Feel free to get in touch with any questions, or to arrange an initial session.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am trained as an Integrative Therapist, which means I have learnt multiple therapeutic approaches which I can draw on during our work together.
I have particular experience and training in:
Sexual Abuse, Sexual Violence, Trauma, Narcissistic Abuse, Dissociation, Self-Harm, and Suicidal Ideation.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
