About me

Are you experiencing current or past issues/problems that you have found too difficult to share with family and friends? There are times in our life when we need a space to talk without the fear of judgement.  To be able to confide your personal struggles to someone, without the fear to hold back due to what is acceptable in society’s eyes…

Counselling can offer you the breathing space to work towards getting to know yourself, and your own journey towards self-growth, acceptance and love for you.

I can offer you a confidential and safe space to talk about what is weighing heavily on your mind.

As a Person-Centred Counsellor, I am warm, caring and empathic. I do not judge or make assumptions about what is going on in your life.  I believe you are the expert on yourself and sometimes we can lose ourselves due to personal issues we had or have experienced, and we just need support in unravelling the tangles created along the way. I am here to be with you in your journey. In supporting and offering unconditional understanding, you and I can learn and discover who you are now.

I take my time to get to know you, without assumptions or prejudgments, you can feel safe to just comfortably be you. I am here as a part of your journey, to walk beside you and to keep you anchored when you need to let go safely.

There is no shame or guilt when we are unable to move forward no matter how hard we try, we just… need a bit of help to unravel where the tangles have become intertwined to straighten those knots.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch either by email or phone. I offer free 20 minutes consultation to learn more about your needs.

For now, I await and look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
