About me

Hello and Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here, and I’d love to introduce myself and share what you can expect as we begin this journey together

My name is Amber, and I know that reaching out for therapy can be a big step one that can feel a little daunting at times. But I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to start, and remind you that by being here, you’ve already begun a meaningful step forward.

I’ve had the privilege of working as a psychotherapist within the NHS (Sutton Uplift and Talk Wandsworth) and Relational Counselling. During that time, I’ve had the honour of supporting individuals of all ages children, young people, adults, and older adults each with their own unique stories and challenges. I have experience working face-to-face, online, and over the telephone, offering flexible support to suit each person's needs. I understand that at times, we can all feel stuck, unsure of how to move forward, or weighed down by anxiety, depression, or past experiences.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to be truly heard and supported. I believe that no one should have to suffer in silence, and I’m committed to helping those who may feel like they have no one else to talk to.

I look forward to supporting you every step of the way, and to creating a space where you feel truly valued, understood, and empowered to make the changes that matter most to you.

If you are ready to take the first step, I am here for you. Please reach out via email or WhatsApp/text/phone 07731422400

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
