MA, MBACP(Accred) Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor

About me

Life can feel exhausting when you’re constantly "keeping it together" or simply feeling "out of sorts" without knowing why. Whether you are navigating a difficult life event, managing long-term anxiety and depression, or feeling the weight of childhood trauma, it can be lonely to carry it all. Many of the people I work with have spent years feeling misunderstood or trying to fit into a world that doesn’t quite meet them where they are. As a qualified integrative psychotherapist, counsellor, and life coach, I offer a warm, non-judgmental space for individuals (13+) and couples where you can finally set down the mask. In our work together, you don’t need to explain away your experiences or be anyone other than yourself; we move at a pace that feels safe and right for you.

My approach is flexible and collaborative because I don’t believe in a "one size fits all" model. I draw on a range of tools to suit your unique needs, blending psychodynamic and trauma-informed therapy to explore deep-seated patterns with practical CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques for day-to-day stability. By integrating these with coaching, we can work not only with what hurts but also with what helps you move forward, turning your insights into tangible, real-life change.

I support clients across a wide range of experiences, from the unique exhaustion of neurodivergent masking—including ADHD, Autism, EUPD, and OCD—to the nuances of cultural identity, heritage, and belonging. I also provide a calm, neutral space for couples looking to improve communication and rebuild trust. Whether you are struggling with low self-esteem or a major life transition, you don’t have to do it alone. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, develop genuine self-compassion, and build a life that feels balanced, meaningful, and truly your own.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and have extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, identity concerns, trauma, and major life transitions. My integrative approach allows me to draw on a range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques, tailoring our work to meet your unique needs.

Alongside my psychotherapy training, I am also a qualified life coach, having completed my Diploma in Personal Life Coaching with The Coaching Academy. This enables me to bring a focused and practical coaching dimension to my work, helping clients turn insight into meaningful action and create lasting change in both personal and professional areas of life.

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy — MBACP (Accred). My work is guided by the BACP Ethical Framework, supporting safe, ethical and compassionate therapy with a high standard of professional care.

I work in a trauma-informed way, recognising how past experiences can shape emotions, coping strategies, relationships, and self-belief. I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attend CPD training, workshops, and clinical supervision. This includes specialist learning in trauma-informed practice, neurodivergence, emotional regulation, relational dynamics, and culturally sensitive practice, ensuring my work remains ethical, reflective, and effective.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

Therapeutic Style
I aim to create a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental environment where you can feel truly heard and supported. My integrative approach means I draw from a range of therapeutic models—such as CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, and mindfulness-based therapies—to tailor each session to your unique needs. This allows for a flexible, personalised experience that meets you where you are.

Commitment to Diversity
I am passionate about providing therapy that is inclusive, culturally sensitive, and respectful of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. I believe in celebrating diversity and creating a space where everyone feels safe to explore their challenges, identity, and personal growth without fear of judgement.

Practical Focus
While therapy often involves deep emotional exploration, I also focus on equipping you with practical tools and coping strategies to manage everyday challenges. My approach blends insight with action—helping you understand yourself more deeply while building the confidence and resilience to move forward.

Why Online Therapy
Online therapy offers flexibility and accessibility, allowing you to attend sessions from the comfort of your own space—whether at home, work, or elsewhere. It’s ideal for those with busy schedules, mobility challenges, or who prefer the convenience and privacy of remote sessions.

First Steps
Starting therapy can feel daunting, but I’m here to make the process supportive and straightforward. If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you, we can arrange an initial consultation to discuss your needs, goals, and how we might work together.

Confidentiality
Your privacy is paramount. All online sessions are conducted through secure, encrypted platforms, ensuring confidentiality, trust, and professional standards of care at every stage.

Who I Work With
I work with individuals aged 13 and above and adult couples, supporting those navigating life’s most challenging moments—whether managing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, or seeking deeper personal growth and self-understanding.
