About me
I offer therapy for individuals and couples in London and Hertfordshire, online or face to-face.
Premarital, communication, intimacy, aguing, neurodivergent connection, affair recovery, divorce, breakup recovery. Online or in person relationship courses or online self paced coaching course soon to be available.
Reaching out for support can feel difficult, especially when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. You may be looking for someone who will listen carefully, without judgement, and offer you the space and time to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what you are experiencing.
For couples, I provide a balanced space where both partners can feel heard and understood. You may be experiencing ongoing arguments, communication difficulties, feelings of distance or disconnection, or trying to navigate the impact of an affair or a loss of trust. Whatever challenges you are facing, we can work together to understand the patterns that have developed within your relationship and explore new ways of relating to one another.
Couples therapy is not about assigning blame or deciding who is right or wrong. It is an opportunity to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, deepen understanding, and rediscover closeness and connection. Together, we can find ways for you to enjoy each other again and create a relationship that feels more fulfilling and secure.
For individuals, I work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, abuse, OCD, bereavement, relationship difficulties, and feelings of confusion or sadness. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD, AuDHD and autism.
I hold an advanced certificate in neurodiversity-affirming practice, which informs my approach and helps me create a therapeutic space that recognises and respects different ways of thinking, communicating and experiencing the world. Together, we can explore what may be contributing to your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Sometimes we know something doesn't feel right but cannot explain why. Therapy provides a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. Through greater self-awareness and understanding, meaningful and lasting change can become possible.
I am a qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor with many years of experience working in both charitable organisations and private practice. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, with sessions taking place weekly.
I work within a strict professional and ethical framework and undertake regular Continuing Professional Development to ensure my practice remains safe, informed and up to date.
If you would like to arrange an initial session or ask any questions, please feel free to get in touch by email.
What Clients Say
"Justine is a brilliant therapist. She actively listens and helps me to understand my emotions. She is empathetic and supportive, while also offering honest and thoughtful feedback. She helped me face traumas I didn't want to deal with directly and always checked in with me regularly."
"I had sessions with Justine over several months. She created an open and welcoming space where I felt able to talk through difficult issues. Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
