A therapist since 2000 coaching and supervising individuals and groups short or long term. Stephen is an integrative therapist employing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, a talking therapy that can help manage problems by changing the way you think and behave. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, but can be useful for other mental and physical health problems. He is working with charities, higher education and local authorities and in private practice since 2007 with experience across a broad range of areas of counselling. An initial assessment to determine your counselling needs and expectations can be arranged by telephone or face to face.
Stephen is a humanistic, integrative, counsellor respecting and valuing your uniqueness as an individual and working with you to identify your counselling needs. He has a warm and welcoming approach offering an empathic, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to explore and understand the issues.

He works with a wide range of concerns including anger management, depression, anxiety, abuse, low self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, disability, personal and work related stress, low self-confidence, trauma, Asperger’s syndrome, bereavement, identity, sexual identity, sexuality and spirituality.
Located near the centre of the village of Botley, Hampshire, the consultation is conducted in comfortable and private accommodation. There is car parking for your vehicle on the premises and the location is just 3 miles from junction 7 of the M27. Botley railway station is a 10-15 minute walk away. A number of bus services stop within approximately 5 minutes walk of the location.

A normal session is 50 minutes for which the standard charge is £45.00 for a person and £55.00 for a couple.
Fees are payable at each session or monthly in advance by cash or bank transfer.
Clients missing or cancelling an appointment without 24 hours notice are liable for fees.
There is a step leading to the consulting area, if wheelchair access is needed, alternative arrangements can be made to hold the session elsewhere in the local area.
