Shaun William Lewis MBACP (Accred) Registered
Hello, my name is Shaun, and I'm a qualified, registered Counsellor & Psychotherapist with over 13 years experience, offering therapy from Grange Farm Oadby LE2.
I work with both adults and young people with anxiety and depression, I also work with relationship issues that affect family, work and personal aspects in a warm and relaxed way. I will always work with you as an individual and encourage you to make your own decisions, which for many is very empowering.
By taking the steps to explore why you might be feeling low you have the chance to re think, and look at your life and feelings differently. I will walk alongside to encourage you to explore what you might have struggled to say perhaps for many years in a safe environment, finding your own voice can be life changing.
At times we all struggle with difficult emotions in our lives. If our distress is not explored, depression and anxiety can develop and become an everyday experience.
My approach is to identify what I feel would particularly help you from the field of counselling and psychotherapy, and use it to work in the best way for you, and as I've mentioned, I aim to provide a safe, calm and reflective space where we can explore current or past difficulties or stresses which impact on your life and relationships, and together identify new ways forward.
I am a Registered, Accredtied Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and work in accordance with its ethical framework.

PLEASE NOTE: Please accept my apologies if I am unable to pick up when you call, or reply immediately to your email, but my commitment to you is, I will respond or speak with you within 24 hrs, thanking you in advance, best wishes, Shaun.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a certificate in Counselling and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling.
My style of working with client’s is relaxed and I will always encourage and support you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace and in your own time. My passion and interests look at client relationship and attachments, particularly within the workplace and Further Education sectors.
Whilst practising as a therapist I’ve identified that client’s can find themselves in a cycle of feeling anxious and insecure that might lead to them withdrawing from their careers, partners, friends, family or study. Therapy can help you to make better decisions and hopefully have better, fulfilling relationships with others.
