I have over 25 years experience working as a counsellor, including 17 years in the NHS. I offer a common sense, accepting and compassionate approach supported by my psychodynamic training, CBT and mindfulness tools. You will be provided with a unique and confidential counselling relationship, where you will not be judged, enabling you to talk about things that might be troubling, confusing and painful.
Through engaging in this process, you will have the opportunity to feel listened to, understood and not so alone with your problems. This kind of support and acceptance can provide the opportunity to develop different relationships with yourself and others.
I offer a free initial counselling appointment during which we can discuss issues that are troubling and concerning to you and how counselling might help. We could explore short term focused sessions, as well as open ended therapy. I am flexible in my approach, so that I can best suite your needs.
I can help you deal with:-
- Depression and anxiety

- Addictive behaviours
