Hello my name is Laura, I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor and I am passionate about helping people find a way to a more fulfilling life.
Sometimes it can be difficult to talk to your partner, friends or family about personal issues, difficult feelings or things that are worrying you.
Talking to me as your counsellor may be easier. As your counsellor I help you understand your feelings, thoughts and relationships, providing you with the tools to help you make changes you feel will lead to a more fulfilled life.
Counselling is about you being heard. As your counsellor I will work alongside you so that we build a relationship based on trust, understanding and respect, allowing you to have a safe place to explore, develop & change.
Counselling is not the same experience for everyone, that is why as your counsellor I work with you at a pace that feels right for you. I have trained in a range of counselling skills, which enables me to find the approach that works best for you and is most appropriate for the problems you bring.
Counselling will only be useful to you if you feel comfortable, safe and truly listened to.That is why I offer a FREE 30 minute introductory session, which allows us to get to know each other and discuss how we can work together.
I started SeeClear Counselling to provide affordable counselling, because I believe counselling should be available to everyone. Please do not let cost be a barrier to you accessing counselling when you need it most. We discuss affordability at the FREE introductory session.

Were you a victim of Childhood abuse?
I specialise in working with people who have experienced emotional, physical or sexual abuse in their childhood.
I currently volunteer at an agency who offer support to survivors of childhood abuse, be it emotional, physical or sexual abuse. I know how difficult it can be to talk about the past and how it may be impacting on your life today. If you feel it is time to take steps to work with this, I can offer you a safe, confidential and understanding environment where we will work at a pace that is right for you. This work can often be long term work and I offer rates that reflect this.

My standard session fee is £35.
However I believe Counselling should be available to everyone and cost should not be a barrier to you being able to access Counselling.
I therefore offer a sliding scale depending on your circumstances, which we discuss at your FREE Introductory session. You can book weekly sessions or a block of 6 sessions, or more.
I discount for block bookings as attending counselling on a weekly basis is shown to be more beneficial.
I also offer discounts for long term work.
