I am a qualified and accredited Integrative Counsellor registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) practising in Central and South West London.
As an integrative counsellor, my approach incorporates humanistic, person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive behaviour (CBT) modalities, which are tailored to a client's individual needs.
I believe that the most important aspect of counselling is a strong therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client. I aim to provide a warm, safe, supportive, non-judgemental space, which allows you to challenge established ways of thinking and being. Working collaboratively I aim to help you evaluate your needs to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, enabling you to make empowered choices.
From my previous experience in the world of media and the creative industries I understand the pressures on the individual in the workplace and home, and the impact it can have. This informs my practice which includes working with a wide variety of mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, addiction, relationship and workplace issues and bereavement.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor holding an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling, a Post-Graduate Certificate in CBT and I abide by the BACP code of ethics.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of theories and modalities which mean that I can provide a therapeutic experience specific to your needs. In our work together I hope to give a new understanding and practical tools which will serve you in the future.
