Profile

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor who can provide counselling or personal life coaching to individuals, groups and professionals in Poole, Bournemouth and the surrounding Dorset and Hampshire areas. I have over 19 years experience of Counselling, Management and Clinical Supervision in NHS and voluntary organisations and deliver a professional and trustworthy service.

As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, I comply to their ethical code of conduct.  I will respect your privacy, confidentiality and right to maintain your autonomy and I am committed to fairness, equality, avoiding discrimination and appreciate diversity. I strive to be empathic, sincere, respectful, fair, and competent throughout.

If you are experiencing feelings such as anxiety, stress, anger or depression which are leading to you acting in ways that are unhelpful to yourself, then I specialise in an approach called Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy which is very helpful for some people and might be of help to you too.  However, my skills and approaches are not confined to this and therefore please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements.
