At times in our lives we may become stuck. You may, or may not know why. Counselling can be an opportunity to talk with someone who is trained to listen, someone not involved in your situation, someone who can hear and accept you and maybe help you understand.
I have always had a great love and interest of working with, and listening to, people. I have worked as a Person-Centred Counsellor in various settings since 2006. As well as my private practice, I have worked for a voluntary Counselling agency for over 9 years.
My aim as a Counsellor is:
To offer a safe and confidential environment
To listen to you without judgement
To encourage a therapeutic space
To help you explore and understand what is going on for you
With more understanding, and by working together, Counselling could help you find a way forward.
Everyone is different. There are no minimum or maximum number of sessions. YOU decide what you need. You may want to meet weekly, fortnightly, monthly, whatever works for you.
