About me

Do you need someone to talk to?

If so maybe I can help...

Hello. My name is Anthony Davids.

So who am I?

I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist offering Core Process Psychotherapy sometime known as Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy. I have therapy rooms in Bushey, Hertfordshire, WD23 and Bethnal Green, Central London E2. As an experienced registered psychotherapist, I can offer you the support you need in a confidential, non judgemental space, so that we can explore any difficulties you may have. This therapeutic exploration can bring about clarity, insight and transformation.

What is Core Process Psychotherapy?

Core Process psychotherapy is an integrated psycho-spiritual approach that appreciates that each person is composed of Mind, Body and Spirit. It combines the curative power of joint awareness between therapist and client with western psychological theory and psychotherapeutic approaches.

The word "core" refers to the freedom and joy at the heart of our being. "Process" is about how this may have become obscured by events in our lives that have caused suffering and limitation.

Core Process Psychotherapy is about being present to our current experience and seeing how our past conditioning may have affected us. It provides an opportunity to challenge our habitual responses that may, at one time, have been crucial to our survival, but that now inhibit us.

Through the consistent, safe frame of the therapeutic relationship, we can learn how we are experienced by the other while still being in relationship with them. It can help us rediscover the true sense of who we are, and reconnect us to the freedom and joy at our heart.

This process of therapy can open up new opportunities, we can have the chance to experience a truer and deeper sense of well-being; greater independence, contentment and connection with others.

Why should I see a psychotherapist?

People see a psychotherapist or counsellor for many different reasons, such as the territories of anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, panic attacks, phobias or a general sense of feeling sad, just to name a few. You may just want to explore and understand yourself better, but what ever the reason, people have found that a reflective enquiry into their thoughts and feelings can open up a greater understanding which can provide an opportunity for change.

Who do I work with?

I work with individuals and have the intention to enable you to to live life more fully with a greater sense of wellbeing, potential and happiness.

How to I find out if psychotherapy or counselling is for me?
