Sometimes life can be challenging and difficult. It can help to talk things through, it could be about things happening at this moment or things that have happened to you in the past. Talking within a confidential environment to someone who is not a family member or a friend can give you the space and freedom to discuss your situation more fully and where you can be yourself and explore your feelings without judgement.
The therapy process is about creating a trusting relationship in which we can work together in an open and respectful way to enable you to be able to explore the issues that you chose to discuss. As a Person Centred Counsellor I believe that you have the resources to enable you to make the right decisions for you and we will work together to discover your own understanding, rather than offering you advice or telling you what to do.
I hope our work will enable you to reflect on what is troubling you and feel unburdened, whether it is through making a change, or gaining acceptance of a life event, but most importantly to become able to positively move forward in your life.
