Sometimes life can be challenging and difficult and talking these issues through with a qualified counsellor can help. Whether it is something that is happening now or something that has happened to you in the past, talking to someone who is not a family member or a friend can give you the space and freedom to explore your situation fully, in a safe and confidential environment where you can be yourself and explore your feelings without judgement.
During therapy we are able to create an honest and trusting relationship in which we can work together in an open and respectful way to fully explore the issues that you chose to discuss. As a Person Centred Counsellor I believe that you have the resources to enable you to make the right decisions for you. Rather than offering you advice or telling you what to do, we will work together to explore your situation and find your own understanding of whatever it is that has been challenging or worrying you.
I hope our work will enable you to reflect on what is troubling you and through the counselling process you can feel unburdened, whether it is through making a change, or gaining acceptance of a life event, but most importantly to become able to positively move forward in your life.
