I believe that with my empathic and non-judgemental approach you will feel supported and respected. Counselling provides the opportunity to talk about and think through personal difficulties or areas of concern in a confidential and supportive environment with someone trained to listen carefully and help you move forward. Many people find that they can gain clarity when they explore in detail their thoughts and emotions and are more able to make life enhancing changes through their experience of talking therapy.
As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) my practice is monitored by a qualified counselling supervisor and is bound by the BACP ethical framework. I am also listed on the BACP Professional Standards Authority accredited register. I hold both DBS and ICO certificates.

As an experienced practitioner I am able to offer you space and time to share your thoughts and feelings in order to help you to explore the difficulties you are experiencing. It is possible that a mixture of counselling and coaching could be useful and more appropriate for your needs. As a qualified coach I am able to offer this too. I understand that deciding to come for counselling might seem like a difficult decision and for this reason I offer an initial 30 minute session for you to make this choice.
I have a particular interest in bereavement and loss and understand that at times of loss people can feel very isolated and alone and I aim to help you to talk through all the difficulties you might be experiencing.
I would like you to feel that this decision is the right one for you and an initial 30 minute session will give you the opportunity to meet me, as questions, explore how I work and discover whether I would be the right therapist for you. The cost of this initial session is £15.00.
I look forward to meeting you.
