Profile

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor (BACP - British Association of Counseling and Psychotherapy). I trained in both psychodynamic and person-centred counselling and I integrate these two approaches into my work along with CBT skills as appropriate. As well as my private practice I also work in a counselling agency and for a GP counselling service.

I offer general counselling to individuals from age 14 for a full range of emotional issues, I also offer couple counselling. I provide both short term counselling or longer term opened ended counselling, depending on need. I see both men and women of any culture, race, religion or sexual orientation and believe in offering all people who come to me respect, sensitivity and understanding as they explore their difficulties.

I also provide counselling for counselling students and supervision for counsellors and health care professionals.

Certificate in Counselling at University of Herfordshire
Post-Qualifying Certificate in CBT skills

I am currently embarking on an Integrative Supervision Diploma so am offering low cost supervision during this training.

Additional Information

My private practice is within easy reach of the neighbouring towns, such as Berkhamsted, Tring, Chesham, Harpenden, Redbourn and St. Albans as well as being on a good rail link from London.
