About me

I offer counselling & psychotherapy to couples and individuals who want to have better relationships- with themselves and others - but are not quite sure HOW.

With more than 20 years professional experience, specialising in relationship therapy, I will help you discover how to make changes for an emotionally happier and healthier life.

I also offer Consultations and Supervision for professionals.

How I Can Help
I have the tools to coach, assist and support you on the journey to a more fulfilling, deeper and intimate relationship with yourself and/or a partner.

You will learn new skills that will help you break free of old patterns and create more satisfying relationships with yourself and others.

I work with individuals and with couples, and offer both short-term and open-ended therapy.

For couples in crises / couples who can't do regular weekly sessions or come from afar, I also offer private intensive sessions (2 full days). The two days are designed to lead couples from conflict to connection, deepen intimacy and shed clarity over the core elements that drive power struggles and cause disconnection and pain in their relationship.

In a structured, personally tailored process you will be taught, guided, empowered and challenged to see previously unseen elements in your relationship and experience new unfolding possibilities for your connection. You will leave with fresh insights, boosted energy and new tools to better your relationship.

Please contact me for more information.

About Me

I am an accredited therapist and trainer, with over 20 years experience, working within the BACP and the NCP Ethical Framework.
I am an accredited IMAGO Relationship Therapist and completed the Level III AEDP Training.

I have a particular interest in Relationship issues; general dissatisfaction with relationships, affairs, power struggles in the different stages of relationships, repeating relational patterns, sexuality, feelings of loneliness, disappointment and failure in relationships and more. I have, for many years now, explored these areas of life and gained expertise in assisting individuals and couples who face challenges in their relationships.

- Offering a warm and non-judgemental approach to my clients, I respect individual's values and personal choices.
- I am committed to maintaining my professional development and attend regular further training. I also have regular supervision.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
