Stressed, confused, alone with your thoughts? I can offer you a peaceful and nurturing space to offload and unpick what's on your mind. I am an experienced person-centred counsellor and health professional, offering individual counselling and parent coaching. I have worked for many years with vulnerable families, parents and children. Our lives are a complex mix of relationships, emotions and pressures, which are made more stressful and overwhelming by life events such as bereavement and loss, traumatic experiences and relationship breakdown. I believe that we all have the capacity and 'tools' within us to cope with what life throws at us, but this can be 'locked up' by how we have responded to past events and have then become dis-empowered.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Counselling
Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy
Certificate in Person-centred Art Therapy
Registered Nurse, Registered Health Visitor
Counselling experience includes working with local hospice bereavement service, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, and adults and young people with a wide variety of issues.
As a Health Visitor I have worked with vulnerable families on parenting and relationship issues, loss and separation, self esteem and attachment difficulties

Fees
Counselling: £35 per hour
£45 per couple (1.25 hrs)
Parent coaching: 1st session £55 ( 1.5 - 2 hrs)
2nd and subsequent sessions £35 per hr
(phone back-up included)
Reduced fees negotiable

Rural location - own transport needed, no wheelchair access.
Home visits can be arranged
