About us
Verism is a counselling, psychotherapy, and coaching practice created by three experienced therapists who share a commitment to offering thoughtful, client‑centred support. Each of us works privately with individuals seeking space to explore grief, anxiety, life transitions, trauma-related experiences, and personal growth, and we’ve built Verism as a calm, welcoming environment where people can feel genuinely held in their process.
Alongside our therapeutic work, we also offer beautifully furnished therapy rooms for private practitioners looking for a warm, professional space to meet their own clients. Verism is rooted in compassion, integrity, and steady relational care - a place designed for meaningful work, whether you’re seeking therapy or a supportive setting to practice in.
Training, qualifications & experience
Collectively, we hold extensive experience and qualifications. Having worked across the third sector and education environments, Francesca, Amy, and Jonathan have each worked with a variety of clients using a variety of approaches and therapeutic models.
We are all members of either NCPS or BACP professional bodies.
