About me

Do you feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or disconnected from yourself? Perhaps you're navigating a difficult life transition, relationship challenges, grief, stress, burnout, or the effects of past trauma?

I'm Turiya Rose, a BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor offering a warm, compassionate, and grounded space where you can explore what is happening in your life and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, significant life changes, spiritual and existential questions, women's wellbeing and personal growth. Together, we can explore the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be affecting your wellbeing, helping you move towards greater clarity, resilience, and self-connection.

My approach combines Person-Centred, Gestalt, and Transpersonal counselling, alongside an awareness of the nervous system and the connection between mind and body. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs, and we work collaboratively at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

How I Work
I believe that meaningful change often begins when we feel genuinely heard and understood.

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and integrative. This means I do not work from a rigid set of techniques. Instead, I draw from different therapeutic approaches to support what is most relevant for you.

Alongside talking therapy, we may gently explore emotional patterns, relationships, bodily sensations, and present-moment experience. This can help deepen self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience, and support lasting change.

I aim to offer a calm and non-judgmental space where all aspects of your experience are welcome.

The first session

Beginning therapy can feel like a tender step, and I aim to make that first contact as gentle and supportive as possible.
