About us

Accredited CBT and Wellbeing Support for Adults, Children and Adolescents

Parent support for Children with Anxiety and Behavioural Challenges.

Torden CBT provides 1-1 online psychotherapy to adults, young people and parents using a cognitive behavioural approach.

I am a BABCP accredited CBT Therapist, specialising in Anxiety and Depression, including, OCD, GAD, Panic, Specific Phobia and Depression working with both adults and young people.

We also offer a range of low intensity wellbeing support for Children and Adolescents for difficulties including Anxiety, Behaviour Difficulties and Low Mood. This work can be 1-1 with the young person (over 13 years) or with parents (where the child is under 13).

Our aim is to help people recover and lead fulfilling lives. Enabling you to gain - not only an understanding of your difficulties - but to develop a range of skills to help you overcome these and feel equipped, looking to the future, to overcome any barriers that may come your way – ultimately giving you the  tools to become your own therapist.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been working in child and adult mental health for over 10 years. I have experience of working in Adult IAPT and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) as a CBT Therapist and have previous experience working with children, adults and their families as a Multi Systemic Therapist.

I graduated from Keele University in 2009 in Criminology and Psychology. In 2018, I completed my Postgraduate Diploma at the University of Manchester. Both of these courses are accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapist (BABCP).
