About me

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not quite yourself, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it alone either.

I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can breathe, reflect, and begin to explore what you truly need. My approach is rooted in the belief that you are the expert of your own life. My role is to walk alongside you—supporting, challenging, and encouraging you as you move toward clarity, healing, and growth.

I began my counselling journey with a foundation in person-centred therapy, which prioritises empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. Over time, I’ve enriched my practice with training in solution-focused and cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT)—offering practical tools to help you manage day-to-day challenges while working through deeper emotional patterns.

Whether you're struggling with grief and loss, relationship challenges, workplace stress, or family dynamics, I tailor our sessions to your individual experience. You're not a problem to be fixed—you’re a person with a story that deserves to be heard and understood.

I’m also trained in Brainspotting (BSP)—a powerful, neuroscience-based technique that works with the brain-body connection to gently release trauma stored at a deep level. Clients often describe it as "therapy at warp speed" because it bypasses the analytical mind and goes straight to the source of emotional pain—creating space for rapid and lasting healing.

Alongside one-to-one counselling, I facilitate weekly support groups focusing on areas like bereavement, anxiety, anger, PTSD, and suicide awareness. I have specialist training in grief and loss, and I support clients through major life transitions—whether it’s the death of a loved one, a relationship breakdown, a shift in identity, or simply feeling lost in life.

I’m also a qualified clinical supervisor through the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy, and I offer supervision for both trainees and experienced therapists. My supervision style is reflective, supportive, and collaborative—helping you grow with confidence and integrity in your work.

Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by regret, overthinking, or sleeplessness. Together, we work to rebuild confidence, restore balance, and rediscover joy—even in the smallest of moments.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You just need to be willing to show up—and I’ll meet you where you are.
