About me
Hello, I'm Stacey Jones. I am a registered counsellor with the Association of Christian Counsellors. I offer an online counselling service for 18+. I am an integrated counsellor and use a variety of techniques to help my clients. I specialise in anxiety, depression, grief, family pressures, stress, learning issues, health issues and faith-related issues.
Sessions are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, between 9:00-5:30 pm.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a background in teaching, and following an interest in psychology completed a Master's in Counselling in 2017. Previously, I have worked in an inner-city counselling agency and I have managed my private practice called SL Counselling for six years. I lead a support group for a UK cancer charity. I also volunteer as pastoral support in a local Christian retreat centre. I have transitioned to online counselling in the last few years as this has proved to be popular with my clients.
Member organisations
The Association of Christian Counsellors and Linked Professions is a professional body representing and setting standards for Christian counselling and care in the UK. The organisation is made up of various different membership categories, including Counsellor and Accredited, and requires all members working as counsellors to undertake Continuous Professional Development on a regular basis.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
