About me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my aim is to offer a space where you feel genuinely welcomed, heard, and understood. I’m an integrative counsellor, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and adapt my way of working to suit you as an individual. At the heart of my practice is a person‑centred ethos: I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect.

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You may be navigating a difficult life transition, feeling overwhelmed, or struggling to make sense of emotions that feel confusing or heavy. You might be facing relationship challenges, questioning your identity, or simply sensing that something in your life no longer feels aligned. I also work with the deeper, existential questions that many of us encounter at different stages of life - themes around purpose, meaning, freedom, uncertainty, and what it means to live authentically.

In our sessions, you can expect a calm, supportive environment where all parts of you are welcome. I offer a non‑judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we can look at what’s happening for you right now, gently uncover patterns, and create room for new perspectives and possibilities.

My approach is collaborative and flexible. I will always meet you where you are, honouring your unique experiences and working with you to find a way forward that feels right for you. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or simply a place to pause and reflect, I’m here to support you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
