About me

I offer counselling in Brixton, south London – a very short walk from Brixton tube station – and in north London – a short walk from East Finchley underground station – both are easily accessible from north, south or central London (Victoria line or Northern line).

Having trained as an integrative counsellor at the Minster Centre in London, I work relationally, holding in mind a range of psychological theories, whilst tailoring the work to each client’s needs, and endeavouring to understand each client’s perspective of his or her life and experiences.

I strive to provide a safe, confidential environment in which you can openly explore whatever may be on your mind, in your own time.

Whether you feel generally happy with your life but have a specific concern (such as the illness or death of a loved one, or an anxiety about an upcoming event) or you would like to explore elements of your life or relationships more deeply – exploring your past, as well as your current life and your hopes for the future – I would be happy to work with you to improve what we can, or accept those things that cannot be improved.

I tend to work as holistically as possible – taking into consideration my clients’ mind, body, culture, race, spiritual beliefs, age, physical ability, and whatever else may seem relevant.

I specialise in anger management, anxiety and childhood trauma.

Daytime and evening sessions are offered, usually lasting for fifty minutes.

If you would like to ask any questions or to arrange an initial meeting, please feel free to contact me by phone or email.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
