About me
Welcome! I'm Sheila, an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor.
I understand that life can be overwhelming at times, whether you're grappling with difficult emotions, facing life transitions, or navigating complex relationships. It's completely normal to feel lost or uncertain, but you're not alone. I'm here to offer you the support, guidance, and understanding you need during these times. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings, helping you to uncover new insights and solutions.
I offer compassionate, one-on-one counselling tailored to your unique needs, with a deep respect for your individuality, background, and experiences. Whether you're an adult, young adult, or child, I bring a rich mix of therapeutic approaches—CBT, Person-Centred, and Psychodynamic therapies—to create a personalised and holistic plan for your mental well-being.
I specialise in working with individuals from all walks of life, including people of diverse cultural backgrounds and those facing a wide range of challenges. My passion for diversity and inclusion fuels my practice, and I draw from my extensive experience in supporting clients from various cultural and social backgrounds. Whether in one-on-one settings or within schools, I've built a deep understanding of the diverse needs my clients may have.
I am committed to walking alongside you as we work together toward healing and growth. My approach is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. Through our work, I aim to help you feel empowered, valued, and ready to face life's challenges with renewed strength and confidence.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
