About me

Are life's challenges overwhelming and difficult to manage? Are you struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, childhood issues, PTSD or OCD? Is bereavement or domestic abuse affecting you? Do you have low self-esteem? Do you seek emotional healing, clarity and a sense of control? Your goal is to overcome negative thought patterns, rebuild self-worth and find peace. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore and heal at a pace that feels right for you. My passion is to support victims of domestic abuse and narcissism. In our sessions, you may learn tools to take home for continuous growth and wellbeing - you matter!

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling. I work with various therapeutic approaches, including Psychodynamic, Humanistic, CBT and Transpersonal Psychology. This enables me to tailor therapy to meet your unique needs, whether you are seeking support as an individual or a couple. We will work together at a pace that feels right for you.

I aim to provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, seen and understood. I work alongside you with empathy. The essence of my work is to offer gentle challenges and practical tools that you can use beyond our sessions to support your continuous growth.

Healing does not stop when our time together concludes – I am committed to helping you develop strategies for managing life’s difficult moments.

I gained valuable experience during my clinical training as a counsellor with organisations such as Mind (part of NHS Talking Therapies) and Safer Places, supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse. In these roles, I worked with clients facing a wide range of issues and challenges.

I now work in private practice as Mind and Soul Counselling, where I continue to offer inclusive, compassionate support tailored to individuals and couples.

I am particularly passionate about supporting clients experiencing narcissistic abuse and domestic abuse. My work also extends to issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, bereavement, low self-esteem and negative childhood experiences. Taking the first step into counselling can feel daunting, but I am here to support you with care as we work towards emotional well-being.

For those exploring spiritual, religious or cultural aspects of life, I incorporate Transpersonal Psychology to support a deeper connection and meaning of life.

All backgrounds and genders welcome. I am committed to creating a space where you are respected and valued. Together, we will overcome barriers and work towards emotional and personal growth because you matter!

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

To ensure you are comfortable with the therapeutic process, I offer a free 15-minute phone or video call before booking your first session.

This call is relaxed and pressure-free. This is an opportunity to ask any questions and get a feel for whether I am the right counsellor for you. If you are attending as a couple, this is a great chance for both of you to share your goals and ensure you feel comfortable moving forward.

If we decide to continue, we will schedule a time that works for you. In our first full session, we will begin exploring what has brought you to therapy. Whether you’re working toward specific goals or need space to process emotions and experiences, our sessions will be tailored to meet your unique needs.

For individuals, therapy may focus on:

  • Trauma, anxiety, depression or low self-esteem
  • PTSD, OCD, or childhood issues
  • Bereavement, overwhelming emotions or relationship difficulties
  • The impact of domestic or narcissistic abuse

For couples, therapy can help with:

  • Communication breakdowns
  • Recurring conflict
  • Feeling emotionally disconnected
  • Navigating major life changes or transitions

For couples, I create a balanced, non-judgmental space where both partners can feel heard and supported. Together, we will work towards strengthening communication, understanding and connection.

You don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Whether you are seeking help for yourself or your relationship, we can take the first step together towards emotional well-being and a deeper connection.
