Post Grad Dip Integrative Counselling & Pschotherapy MBACP

About me

Are you feeling stuck in patterns that leave you questioning yourself, your relationships, or your place in the world?

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, offering a warm, reflective space where you can explore whatever feels difficult, confusing, or unspoken. I work in a way that is shaped around you - listening carefully to your experiences, exploring how your past dynamics may be influencing the present, and helping you make sense of the thoughts and behaviours that keep you feeling stuck or anxious.

I support clients who have found themselves living in complex relationships, carrying a heavy sense of responsibility, or feeling divided between who they truly are and who they are expected to be. They may have found themselves struggling to balance their own needs with the constant expectations of others.

Whatever your story, I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where together, we can gently explore your experiences, past and present, to help you develop a greater sense of self, emotional clarity and choice. I work collaboratively and at your pace, valuing curiosity, honesty and compassion as foundations for meaningful change and emotional freedom.

About me:

In my work, I draw on a range of therapeutic models that align to each client’s subjective experience. My primary training is in psychodynamic, humanistic (including person centred, existential modalities) and cognitive behaviour therapy. I focus on relationship dynamics, making links between people’s feelings, thoughts and behaviours. I also work to understand how social and cultural expectations can shape someone’s existence.

There is no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to being human; you are the expert of your own life. I hope that as we share the therapeutic space together, we can slowly untangle and make sense of whatever keeps you stuck, overthinking, worrying or in emotional pain, so that you can go on to live a more fulfilled life, with meaning and purpose.

Training, qualifications & experience

I graduated in Psychology many moons ago, but life’s twists and turns took me to work into the corporate world. More recently, I have come full circle to complete my Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (Level 7), and I’ve finally landed where I am meant to be. Here with you...

I have built my practice over several years of working within the NHS, charities (including Mind, The Listening Place, and Kingston Women’s Centre), as well as in private practice.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
