Counselling and Psychotherapy located centrally in Croxley Green, Rickmansworth and Watford.
I warmly welcome you to my site. I am an experienced integrative counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I abide by their ethical foundation of good practice.
As well as in person sessions in the Croxley and Rickmansworth areas, I also offer voice and video sessions via PlusGuidance, an online secure and confidential therapy platform.
As an integrative therapist, I draw upon a number of theoretical models: no two problems are ever the same and so I work with a number of approaches depending upon your presenting issue(s). It is you who knows your story, your wounds, your thoughts and feelings, and so my role is to understand what life is like in your shoes as we work together to understand what is triggering your feelings and experiences and uncover the insight needed to help you move forwards. I work in a warm, compassionate and informal way. As well as listening to you, our work together, with your consent, might also include breath and body work, meditation, visualisation, artwork and working with your dreams.
In my personal and professional experience I see the process of therapy as a gradual unfoldment of 'the real you' that may have become buried under years of adaption to your environment. Greater self awareness is the foundation for creating better relationships with ourselves and others.
I am absolutely committed to providing therapy in an emotionally and physically safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

Choosing the right therapist is an important part of the process.
If you are interested and think that I can support you then please contact me by phone or email and we can have a preliminary chat (there is no charge for this). I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
We would then meet for an initial session; again this would be a chat to see how I can help and how we could work together. You may also have further questions for me. This session is really for you to assess whether I am the right practitioner for you. If not, then this is absolutely fine and I will respect any decision you make.
If we decide to work together I will give you a contract which is essentially a practical guideline for the framework of therapy. We will also agree upon how we will work together which can always be re-negotiated dependent upon your needs.
