About me

Hello, I am Samantha and I am an experienced UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, and in addition to working with adults, I am also a qualified Sandplay therapist and work therapeutically and creatively with young children and adolescents.

I am also a qualified Supervisor, registered and accredited and during the past 12+ years, I have worked with people experiencing childhood trauma, abandonment and rejection, addiction, anxiety, domestic abuse, relationship breakdown, cultural issues, grief and loss.

My aim is to act as a guide and support during uncertainty and change, which can often be overwhelming, fearful and daunting.

It can be helpful to share thoughts and feelings in a space just for yourself, to explore and focus on individual potential, development of inner resources and build upon strengths and abilities.

What happens in our sessions?

In therapy sessions, I will create a collaborative, safe, holding environment, where daunting or overwhelming issues can be safely examined and worked with.

With my experience and knowledge, I will use the appropriate modality for each individual so the psychological, emotional and spiritual aspects of well being can be integrated, allowing the authentic self to emerge, thus enriching more understanding of oneself, our relationships with others and restoring self-worth.

Through gaining a deeper understanding of infant development, early life and the patterns and influences of family structures, healing can be achieved.

For either short term interventions or open-ended counselling and psychotherapy, I can offer a confidential, non-judgemental space where painful complex and extreme issues can be explored and contained.

What happens next?

If you have any questions or would like to book an initial session with me, then please call or text me on 07732 231588 or if you'd prefer, you can click here to send me an email.
