About me
As an integrative counsellor and clinical supervisor, I recognise that every person is unique. I draw on a range of therapeutic models to tailor my work to your individual needs, experiences, and goals. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing, develop greater self-awareness, and work towards meaningful and lasting change.
Reaching out for support can feel like a significant step, and I believe finding the right therapist is an important part of that journey. Walk and Talk Therapy offers an alternative to traditional room-based counselling by taking our sessions outdoors in a natural setting. Many people find that being outside and walking side by side helps them feel more relaxed, less self-conscious, and able to talk more freely. I have limited availability for anyone interested in the Saville Park, Halifax area.
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loss, life transitions, stress, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you're facing a specific difficulty or simply feeling that life has become harder to navigate, therapy can offer the opportunity to better understand yourself and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
Alongside my counselling practice, I am a clinical supervisor supporting both trainee and qualified counsellors. I offer a collaborative and reflective supervisory relationship that encourages professional growth, ethical practice, and confidence, while providing a supportive space to explore the complexities of client work. I utilise the 7 Eyed model to help facilitate this.
My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective therapy, and I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, valued, and accepted without judgement.
Whatever your reasons for seeking support, you don't have to face things alone. I welcome the opportunity to work alongside you at your own pace, helping you make sense of your experiences and move towards the life you want to lead.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
