About me
Welcome to S.Jagusch Integrative Psychotherapy
Welcome
I appreciate that making the initial contact with a therapist can be a daunting experience, so please read through the following and if you feel that I might be able to help, do get in touch with no obligation.
I look forward to hearing from you.
My name is Sabine Jagusch, and I am an experienced integrative psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with over 10 years of experience working in private practice and the NHS. I am UKCP registered and committed to providing psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
I offer long and short term in-person therapy to adult individuals in the Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Solihull area. I offer online therapy to UK-based adults 18+. I am experienced in providing therapy to students and those undertaking training in counselling and psychotherapy. The number of sessions will depend on you, the complexity of the issues you want to resolve and the depth of the work we undertake together.
I also offer clinical supervision across a range of theoretical modalities and professional settings.
How psychotherapy can help
The aim of psychotherapy is to help you to develop your awareness of why you feel the way you do about yourself and others, and how you respond to life and those around you. As a psychotherapist, I aim to support you to develop better coping strategies when faced with difficult feelings, thoughts or behaviours that cause you inner conflict or conflict in relationships with others. The overarching aspiration is to enable you to enhance your life and live it more fully by improving your mental and emotional well-being.
My approach
As an Integrative psychotherapist, I work with a unique integrated model that is a synthesis of Humanistic Psychology, Object Relations Theory and Psychoanalytic Self-Psychology. My approach is foremost relational and developmental and designed to help with working through childhood issues in order to be fully available for current relationships. Therapeutic approaches that inform my practice include Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Transactional Analysis, Relational therapy and Person Centred therapy. The influence of these different approaches enables me to work with clients with a wide variety of difficulties, including trauma.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
