About me
At some point in everyone's lives they face personal challenges either as an individual or within a relationship, it's how they deal with these trying set of circumstances that counts. When it all gets too much, talking therapy can help to put things in perspective, give you clarity and give you coping techniques which could have a lasting impact on your life.
My deep seated belief in the humanistic approach comes from my own life experiences, and what you might find in the way we work together, is the time I take to build on the trust between us as I help you to process and navigate your own path of healing, self potential and recovery. My interest in creativity and the way stress impacts us physically might be looked at, in our time together.
My own transformative experiences of therapy, led me down the counselling training path and I feel passionate about helping others (either individually or with a relationship), to realise and unlock their own potential and leading a happier more fulfilling life.
My areas of specific interest are; depression, low self esteem, neurodiversity, work place bullying disordered eating, stress, relationships/couples, bereavement, complex bereavement, anxiety, depression, abuse, sexual abuse, mid life crisis, menopause, career change, relationships and family relationships, life goals.
Initially, it can feel daunting to take the first step so to assist and in order for you to see if you think we might work well together, I offer no charge half an hour get to know each other session, to all potential clients.
