About me

I offer a warm, non-judgemental space for you to start to understand yourself better, and more importantly, find a healthier, happier way forward. Perhaps you are feeling unheard and unseen, lost or lonely? Anxious, depressed or struggling to come to terms with your life? Perhaps you want to deal with something that's always troubled you? Perhaps you are bereaved - either the death of a loved one or the death of a relationship. You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.

You are welcome just as you are. I am an integrative counsellor which means I use different theories and approaches to help you find your way to a better place. A place of understanding. Everyone is wonderfully unique and so I adapt to you, go at your place and meet you just where you are emotionally.

I understand what a brave step it can be reaching out for help. It would be a pleasure to hear from you, whether this is your first time accessing therapy or you have experienced therapy before and perhaps want to continue your journey with someone who offers compassion and empathy, but is not afraid to challenge if that feels intuitively helpful

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
