About me

I offer an approachable range of professional self-development services that integrates my experience, skills and learning after over 10 years as a leader and working as a psychotherapist. My work comes from a passion for witnessing clients share the story of their life and how through the therapy process there is a transformation of the individual, a more appreciative understanding of the qualities they possess, sometimes forgotten over time, and witness clients develop capacity for living and greater purpose, and in the pursuit of greater individual freedom. Every client I have met wishes to be free of a distress, a trauma or their past, and I believe the services I offer allows personal freedom to become part of the language of our work and a reality. I’m delighted that clients have provided confidential testimonials which summarises for them the benefit of therapy.

My approach

My therapy work has a strong relational approach. A key belief of mine is that a principal driver for us in life is to improve the quality of our relationships, whether to ourselves, inner world, or how we relate to those around us. Our capacity to relate positively and develop more fulfilled relationships is a critical measure of human well-being. The aim is a core goal of my work.

My work is always forward looking and purpose driven, sometimes personal change can only happen once we have the insight to understand what our purpose is in a given situation which allows us to picture what change looks like in the future, once we can accept the conflicting commitments on that journey, clients can decide whether we have the courage to follow this inner guide. I believe I can enhance resilience in both how the client feels and think, a balance between the two, and the client has all the inner resources to overcome the difficulties they face.

Finally, my work brings together the best of integrative psychotherapy training, the latest thinking in Neuroscience and leadership experience as a CEO in a leading mental health organisation the counselling foundation based in Herts. A key value of my practice is a focus on facilitating the client to get started and understanding themselves so that early on they positively experience progress and results.

I hold BACP and UKCP accreditation and they are two of the leading professional accreditation bodies in the UK. Consequently, I follow their ethical framework and

I trained at the College for Counselling and Psychotherapy in North London and graduated in 2002, as an integrative psychotherapist. Since then I run a private psychotherapy practice and I have further my training and interests in the field of Jungian and Gestalt therapy and more recently neuroscience, I am currently completing an EMDR training.
