About me
Feeling overwhelmed by life, emotionally overloaded or finding yourself stuck in the same relational patterns? Do you want to seek a better understanding of yourself and explore ways to change track? Whether it’s your thoughts, fears, the feelings you can’t shake off, therapy can be the space to explore these and start to gain a sense of peace.
Counselling offers a one-of-a-kind relationship where I will meet you with warmth, compassion, and without judgement. As someone who’s trained to listen, I will help you feel heard, seen and understood and adapt the way we work together to best suit your needs.
I will aim to meet you where you are, as the person you are, to help you go wherever you want to go. We can work at a pace that feels right for you, building connection through conversation and exploration, to help you achieve the personal growth you want.
Our work together might involve grounding to promote relaxation, exploration of feelings and the past, or gentle challenge. These are some of the ways in which we will work together to help you gain what you want from therapy. It might be challenging at times and emotional too, but the reward can be great and help you to achieve what you want.
With a wealth of experience from over 2000 hours of client work, I will work with you to guide you through the challenges you’re facing, support you through the tough moments and be there by your side as you discover yourself. I am a qualified integrative counsellor, registered with the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists – www.bacp.co.uk) and adhere to their ethical framework which guides how I work safely with you as the client.
If now feels like the right time for you to reflect, grow, and discover yourself, then get in contact and we can arrange a short introductory call to see if we’re the right fit. We can either work over online video call or out for a gentle walk somewhere in the local area around St Ives (Cambridgeshire), whatever best suits your needs.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
